Had a quiet morning in together.the midwife came and had a very brief check of us. Ashley the builder came to see if he thought we could fit a downstairs loo in and at the same time daddy and rach took Ben to vets so they could check his scar-he had to have another spot removed but luckily this one wasn't cancerous.
Rachel went off to playgroup in the pm, with instructions to tell everyone Jack was here and to make him a picture. I had a snooze while she was out and all too soon she was back and we went through the usual tantrum hour which I don't think daddy has witnessed very often!!
Monday night went much the same way as Sunday night - us taking it in turns to look after Jack downstairs while the other had some sleep upstairs and all in all I think I managed a good 6 maybe 7 hours sleep so was buzzing a bit when Rachel popped her head around the door and demanded to know where baby Jack was.
I decided to let Daddy stay in bed for as long as poss and thought it would be a good idea to see if there was going to be any chance of me coping with both kids and dog by myself or if everything was going to go completely tits up!!
I was therefore completely chuffed when I managed to do everyones breakfasts, get everyone dressed and even made breakfast in bed for James - admittedly it was only toast and tea but still I impressed myself!!
Rachel was at Mandy's from 11 so after she went we chilled out for a bit. Luke and Becci both came round for cuddles after lunch then I had another snooze before James picked Rachel up.
Rachel had more cuddle time with Jack, then we all sat down at the table for dinner.
Still so far so good!!
