Had 3 good ish nights with Jack now. Rachel not so much! Daddy spent 2 nights on her floor and one night she slept with us. Twice I didn't even notice her coming in with us, which is very unusual for me as I am normally a light sleeper!
Finally heard from Tom on Thursday pm to say Becci had had the baby - Camille Angela Hall. I spoke to her later on in the evening and she was able to fill me in on what sounds like a traumatic and long labour. It makes me feel grateful that although mine wasn't brilliant it was not as bad - sorry Bec's! - and to be honest mine was more down to the care I received, at least Bec's seemed to get better care than I did. Although it sounds like that was the only plus!
On Friday the lady at playgroup commented on how much more settled and confident Rachel has become since Jack has come out! And after playgroup we had to stop off at Mandy's house to pick up her baby Laura that she had left behind - causing many tears on Thursday pm - and she said pretty much the same. So I am very proud of her.
On Friday I even managed to leave her to play in the sink with water while I cooked off a couple of meals to put in the freezer for next week. And tonight I have made another meal and am currently baking some bread! Yes I am amazing!
To be fair I couldn't have done the stuff today if Rachel had not gone over to Grandmas again! But still I am quite proud of myself.
Not a very long update today, but I am thinking it all starts to sound a bit samey and I don't want to bore people with my detailed account of every hour of every day!!
