Auntie Sarah got wed

Well in my original posts I had mentioned attending Auntie Sarah's hen party. Yes she did get married. No longer destined to be an old spinster with lots of cats she married Adam Topping or rather Uncle Addy on 10th September 2011. The setting was spectacular Park Hall Country House in Worcestershire. It's basically a mini mansion that you hire for the weekend then you provide all the catering etc yourself. http://www.classiccountryhouses.com/park_hall/

It was a lovely day, but the day after was hard work - clearing up all the debris with little help. Took me back to my hotel days except this time I had a small baby in tow while everyone else slept. I could have left the devastation but could not bear for my in-laws to see it in such a state so attempted to make an in-road into the cleaning up before they appeared. I have to admit that being a one-man band multi-tasking the clear-up with feeding a baby, I didn't get too far but it was definitely not as bad by the time other people started to rise although I will be the only one who ever really saw just how bad it was!
Anyway back to the day, Rachel and I were bridesmaids and we didn't scrub up too badly, although there was a traumatic moment after the ceremony when I was holding Jack and he kindly wee'd all down my front.... Luckily a blast with a hair dryer sorted it out! Rachel managed to last til really late dancing with everyone, and as we were staying in the hall itself we were able to put Jack up into the room with the monitor on and miraculously he slept through the sounds of the wedding drifting up from below.
And best of all, well simply to see how happy Auntie Sarah was, and to have Uncle Addy become an official Uncle.
