Well last night, James ended up going in to rachel's room and staying with her all night. She did settle down about 1am in the end and didn't then get up again until half 7. Not sure how well James slept as apparently she brought half her toys down to the sofa bed with him and her!
Jack had another marathon feeding session in the night and once again didn't want to settle in his Moses basket so slept on the bed with me. I woke up with another stinking headache and didn't want to get up to get some tablets although it turns out I had a packet next to my bed.
James took Rachel downstairs and after I had fed Jack I got him to settle in his Moses basket - typical- and we dozed off again for another hour.
James went for a shower and then we gathered everyone and everything together to go over to grandma's house for lunch.
Grandma sorted out everyones lunch and after Rachel had been fed took her out to see the bunnies and get a couple if bits of shopping. At least this allowed us some peace and quiet as she does not stop talking at the moment, a continuous babbling that is sooo loud as well!
Grandma also bought some bread, which meant that grandad was forced to take Rachel out to feed the ducks. More peace and quiet for us! I dozed off on the sofa and James went upstairs to rest in bed for a bit.
We left about half 4 and both kids were fast asleep all the way home. Managed to get Rachel to eat a small cold dinner and then while I finally downloaded all my photos to the computer, James took rach up for her bath. Once again she came back down crying - tonight it was her knee that hurt.... We put more magic cream on it and she soon stopped but unfortunately was wide awake.. As in totally wide awake and despite saying she was ready for bed, James gave up trying to get her to sleep and brought her back down again after about 20 mins.
We then read loads and loads of books before James tried again. How on earth I am going to manage this on my own next week I do not know as Jack seems to always want to feed when it is her bedtime....
Finally about 9.45pm she settled down. Wonder how long it will last for.....
Going to try and take Jack up in a minute and get him wrapped up and in to his basket....
