3 weeks old today!

Well, three weeks today. Can't believe how the time is flying by!
If only we could get both children to sleep a bit better, life would be a breeze.
The last 3 weeks have been very different from the first 3 weeks with Rachel. Life with a toddler and a baby are a lot easier than life with a toddler and a bump. Looking back now the last couple of months of being pregnant were a struggle compared to life now. Even though I get very little sleep, I feel so much better. I know I have been really lucky to not have much in the way of after pains and I have regained my shape already, whereas it took me about a year to get back into shape after I had Rachel. Jack is so well behaved although he is starting to find his lungs and can't half cry when he wants to, but that is mainly only when he is being bathed!
Rachel is better with him than we could have hoped although I do seem to spend a lot of time saying no as she tries to push him in the swing and lift him up to cuddle him whenever the opportunity arises. She also seems to have grown up since he was born which makes me very proud of her.
Ben pretty much ignores him, although he does like to get his chops around the dirty nappies if we don't keep an eye on him... Our bedding now sports a few yellow poo stains where Ben has unwrapped and chomped on jack's dirty nappies.
Today we are enjoying a peaceful day as Rachel has gone out with grandma and grandad, which is nice as we had very little sleep last night. James was on brekkie today and Rachel woke up at 6 as he left, and despite my attempts to get her back to sleep she was having none of it.
Jack allowed me a couple of hours sleep after she had gone though, which was lovely, but I wish he could do the same in the middle of the night!
